Our credit designer Anu Leinonen is a top textile and clothing expert. The magnificent RUOSTE series, designed by Anu, displays the true artistry of our product design team; combining skilled design with our professional weaving expertise. The RUOSTE tablecloth is the quintessential multiuse textile. It is perfect as a tablecloth, a blanket or even hung as a curtain. RUOSTE is made from 100% washed linen, which highlights the beauty, simplicity and luster of linen.
We have used Masters of Linen–certified 100 % linen yarn for both the warp and weft, spun from fully traceable long staple flax. We love flax as a material, for it is a durable, comfortable and environmentally friendly fibre.
Our flax grows with the power of rainwater in the temperate climate of central Europe, needing no irrigation. The yarns have been spun and dyed in the EU area according to the REACH regulations.

The most significant part of the production is done by the fourth generation of weavers in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. We want to be responsible for the production of our products ourselves, starting from the yarn all the way to the finished product.
The product design, material purchases, loom programming and warping as well as the pre-work stages, weaving and fabric inspection are done in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. The sewing is done in our subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in our own sewing department in Lapua. The product finishing is done in our finishing plant in Lapua, Finland.
Thanks to owning our production, we are able to design our products and processes so that our ecological footprint stays as small as possible.
Hand wash at 40°C separately with plenty of water. We recommend using only small amount of neutral detergent. Do not use bleach. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Reshape and dry on a round beam or surface. Do not tumble dry. Lint may come off the product. Linen textiles will dry quickly, remember to iron when the fabric is still damp with linen settings. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. Shrinkage approx. 7%
