The HVITTRÄSK Sauna Textile Collection was made in co-operation with the National Museum of Finland. The collection is designed by Reeta Ek, who won The Young Designer of the Year award in 2017, awarded through the Design Forum Finland. In the RUUSU x HVITTRÄSK Sauna Collection, the national romanticism and the roses found throughout the interior details and the gardens in the Hvitträsk studio home inspired Reeta. The collection combines traditional patterns and rhythms with relaxed ink painted strokes that flow beautifully upon the woven surface.
Linen is natural material that feels nice against the skin. Linen is very absorbent and fast drying. This is why it is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated in our production for the best absorbent and drying qualities.
Large towel 95x180 cm is the perfect companion for beach, it dryes fast between the dips in the water and it’s big enough to use as a beach blanket. RUUSU X HVITTRÄSK hand towel 48x70 cm, that is also suitable as a tea towel.
