Play of Lines, representing a new style of artistic expression in textile art, won Dora Jung the internationally renowned Grand Prix in the Milan Triennale in 1957. It opened many doors and Dora Jung’s name attracted interest in art & design circles around the world.
Play of Lines, also presented by the Finnish state as an official gift to VIPs, is woven out of the thinnest and finest quality linen, Extra A, while all the other tablecloths are made out of quality A linen. Play of Lines was a classic at its birth and has represented Finnish arts and crafts abroad over several decades.

This product is made out of 100% linen. Ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa and it is traceable 100% european Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.
Our strategy is to be responsible for the whole production from yarn to readymade products. Main part of our whole production is made in our own weaving mill in Lapua.
Product development, material purchases, programming of looms and design as well as warping, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection is done in Lapua in our own weaving mill. Sewing is mainly done in our own subsidiary sewing company in Lithuania or our own weaving mill in Lapua. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Country of origin is Finland.
Care instructions
Wash linens at 60°C on a gentle cycle. Do not spin. Wash separately with plenty of water. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. Do not use softener and avoid bleach. Reshape and dry on a round beam or surface, not in a tumble dryer. Linen textiles will dry quickly, remember to iron when the fabric is still damp. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. Shrinkage approx. 7%.
