The RUUSA blanket captivates with its bold colour combinations and a checked composition created from large blocks of colour. Its striking pattern makes it a true statement piece, bringing personality and emotion into any interior.
Woven from extra fine merino wool, the blanket is exceptionally soft, lightweight and warm. It is the perfect companion for relaxing, reading sessions, movie nights, or any moment when you want to wrap yourself in soft warmth. This blanket leaves no one cold, neither literally nor figuratively.
Please note that the RUUSA blanket is 200 cm long, allowing you to wrap yourself completely while relaxing on the sofa. It even covers your toes!
Traceable natural materials
The weft and warp yarn are spun in the EU area from fine-fibre, soft merino wool. The yarn is spun from Australian, mulesing-free wool fibre: we only work with responsible and certified spinning mills which adhere to our code of conduct. The yarns have been spun and dyed according to the REACH regulations, and they meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX certificate.
Own transparent production
Our own production in Lapua, Finland, enables us to combine the best materials. We want to be responsible for the production of our products ourselves, starting from the yarn all the way to the finished product. This is why the most significant part of the production is done in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.
Care instructions
Only wash if textile is very dirty, otherwise take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while. Hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.
