Description
The Lapuan Kankurit x Teemu Järvi collection was launched in 2017 and features a variety of nature-inspired kitchen and table textiles. Teemu Järvi is an artist and designer specializing in nature themes. Every piece he creates is rooted in a deep personal experience of nature: Teemu spends a large part of the year in forests and on the water. He collects or sources the models for his designs and many of his tools himself. This approach results in products that build a bridge from the busy urban life to the timeless, calming world of nature.
We weave this tea towel in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, using fully traceable raw materials: European long-staple linen and bio-organic cotton. Our unique finishing facility, located next to the weaving mill in Lapua, allows us to give these textiles a high-quality finish. This means that, with proper care, the textile will retain its shape in home washing and maintain its form wash after wash.
The linen–cotton towel is long-lasting and only improves with use. Please note that the towel requires a few washes before its absorbency fully develops.
This product has a hanging loop on the short side. It can also be used as a baking cloth, hand towel, or small multipurpose cloth.
