The KOLI throw warms both body and mind, as it is woven from wonderfully soft merino wool in our own weaving mill in Lapua. Luxuriously soft and airy, merino wool is highly versatile: it is not only warm, but also lightweight. The blanket drapes beautifully, making it perfect to wrap yourself in on the sofa at home or out on the terrace as the evening turns cool. Its premium material feels gentle and soothing against the skin.
All the wool we use is mulesing-free: we work exclusively with responsible and certified suppliers. All yarns are dyed in accordance with REACH regulations and meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX certification. This means that no chemicals or other harmful substances detrimental to human health or the environment have been used in the production of the yarns.
The KOLI blanket’s classic pattern and beautiful colours ensure that it blends harmoniously into any home. That is why it also makes a wonderful gift to give and to receive.
Traceable natural materials
Made of 100 % wool – soft and airy merino wool. We buy our yarn only from the best spinning mills, mainly in the EU region. The warp yarn is spun from South American merino fibre and the weft yarn from South African merino wool fibre. The wool we use is mulesing-free: we only work with responsible and certified suppliers. All yarns are dyed according to REACH regulations, and they meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX certificate.
Remember that it is often enough to simply air out the wool to clean it.
Own transparent production
We want to be responsible for the production of our products ourselves, starting from the yarn all the way to the finished product. This is why the most significant part of the production is done in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.
The product design, material purchases, loom programming and warping as well as the pre-work stages, weaving and fabric inspection are done in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. If necessary, the sewing is done in our subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in our own sewing department in Lapua. The product finishing is done in our finishing plant in Lapua, Finland.
Care instructions
Only wash if textile is very dirty, otherwise take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while. Hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.
