SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL FINLAND LABEL TO LAPUAN KANKURIT

Lapuan Kankurit Oy meets all the criteria set for the Sustainable Travel Finland label, and we have been granted the right to use the Sustainable Travel Finland label as proof of valuable and long-term work for sustainable tourism.

"Responsibility is practical actions. Lapuan Kankurit has exemplarily compiled concrete actions in its responsibility manifest. Their long-lasting products really respond to the challenge of over-consumption of natural resources," says responsible tourism expert Hanna Muoniovaara from Business Finland's Visit Finland unit.

Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) programme, developed by Visit Finland, helps tourists and travel professionals to make more sustainable choices when creating travel itineraries to Finland. The programme is designed for tourism companies in Finland to systematically adapt sustainable practices. Companies that undergo the entire programme are recognized with the Sustainable Travel Finland label. The label is a definitive symbol of commitment towards sustainable practices and principles.
