Elina Airikkala
It is so simple to fall in love with a quality towel. The texture in some textiles creates the warm feeling against our skin like a friendly hug. Trust and warmth enveloping you. You can find the music: balanced and harmonious in successfully combining material and colours. I am absolutely fascinated by the structure and the binding of the fabric. I graduated with a Master of Art degree in Textile Art from the Art and Design University of Helsinki. Prior to that I graduated as a weaving artisan. It has been a long road for me as I had found my love at age 5, when I began my career in textiles with my very first handkerchief!
