YARN STORAGE
LINEN, COTTON, TENCEL AND WOOL
We favour European spinning mills that we know and have visited. We use natural fibres, like the Masters of Linen long-staple flax from France and Belgium, the bio-organic, Öko-Tex certified cotton from a German spinning mill, and tencel from Austria.
We are proud member of transparent, european Masters of linen - family. Tencel is a semi-synthetic fibre that's made from cellulose. The Finnish wool which we collect we spin in Finland and the other wool yarns are mostly spun in Europe, and the fibres come from South America, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa, depending on the sort. Transparency and the traceability of materials are important to us.

A big portion of our yarns are dyed closeby, in a dyeing house in Lappajärvi.
